VOCA Smart Bed Alarm System for Elderly VP16
First Time Use:
a) Power On the Main Unit: Turn on the main unit by pressing the button on its edge to the ON position. It will beep once, and the Working LED will flash green, indicating it’s in standby mode. If the LED flashes red, the battery is low.
b) Connect and Activate Transmitter: Ensure the pressure pad and transmitter are connected. Switch the transmitter to NW, Single, or Double. NW: Alarm triggers if someone leaves the central section for over 3 seconds. Single: Alarm triggers if someone sits on the edge section near the transmitter. Double: Alarm triggers if someone sits on either edge section.
c) Position the Pressure Pad: Place the pressure pad on the bed, above the mattress but below the sheet. Adjust it so that the user's hip is aligned with the central section. Position the transmitter at the edge of the bed with its opening facing downward.
The system includes four components:
One main unit, one transmitter, one smart pressure pad, and one SOS button (referred to as sensors). The main unit requires two AA batteries, the transmitter needs two CR2477 batteries, and the SOS button uses one CR2032 battery.
Battery Indicators:
The blinking red LED on the top of main unit indicates a low battery in the unit itself, while a blinking red LED on the transmitter signals a low battery in the transmitter. A dim LED on Call Button indicates low power in the button battery.
Pressure Pad Material:
Cautions: Pressure Pad Material is made of PVC; avoid direct skin contact. Place it under a bed sheet or thin cushion.
Long-Term Storage:
Remove batteries if the product will not be used for an extended period to prevent battery drainage. Users should verify the product's reliability based on its intended use.
Emergency Call:
The SOS button (referred to as sensors) and transmitter of the pressure pad are pre-paired with the main unit. Just place it on the mattress and ready to use. Press the call button to activate the alarm, prompting family members or caregivers for assistance.
Pair with up to four sensors:
Once the main unit paired, it vibrates or sounds an alarm when triggered by a sensor. The Working LED flashes green in standby mode and red when triggered, with the corresponding sensor LED also lighting up.
RESET & MODE & Install Battery:
RESET:
Pressing the RESET key twice silences the alarm and returns the unit to standby for new alerts. The MODE key allows you to select from three alarm modes: vibration only, vibration with low volume, or vibration with high volume.
Alarm Mode/Volume Setting:
Tap the MODE key repeatedly to select your desired alarm mode and volume: High Volume + Vibration / Low Volume + Vibration / Vibration Mode Only
Install Battery:
First Time Use
a) Main Unit: Unscrew the back cover and install two AA batteries in the compartment.
b) Transmitter: The pressure pad's transmitter comes with batteries. If the LED flashes without a trigger, replace the batteries. Unscrew the back cover and install two new CR2477 batteries.
Paring of main unit with sensors:
a) Pairing Devices: The SOS button and transmitter of pressure pad are pre-paired with the main unit. To re-pair or add new sensors (up to 4 devices), press and hold the LEARN key for 3 seconds. The SENSOR 1 LED will flash, indicating pairing mode. Trigger the sensor to pair (press the pressure pad or SOS CALL button) until you hear a beep. A steady LED indicates successful pairing. Use the LEARN key to cycle through sensors for additional pairing. Exit pairing mode by pressing RESET or after 30 seconds of inactivity.
b) Unpairing Devices: To unpair a sensor, press MODE and RESET simultaneously for a few seconds to enter deletion mode, where SENSOR 1 LED will light steadily and there’s a short beep. Use the LEARN key to select which sensor to delete, then hold the LEARN key for 3 seconds to confirm deletion. A flashing LED indicates success. Exit deletion mode by pressing RESET or after 30 seconds.
